Boil the potatoes . Dice and boil rest of the
vegetables
.Mash the potatoes .Add salt to the mashed
potatoes
. Fry the onion in 2 tbs oil till golden brown.
Put
the boiled vegetables and cook for a while .Season
with
finely chopped green chillies , lemon ,sugar ,salt
and
corriander leaves . Grind the ingredients for the
chutney
.Divide potato into 3 parts ,chutney and
vegetables
in 2 parts . Grease a pie dish. Pour a layer
of
mashed potato then then chutney , then vegetables
again
in layer of potatoes and repeat layers finishing
with
potato. Sprinkle with bread crumbs over it and dot
with
butter. Bake in a moderate oven for 30-40 minutes
or
till done or brown in color.
Sieve
maida and salt . Rub in ghee with finger tips.
Add enough water to make a smooth dough. Knead
well, roll out the pastry in a long strip. Dust the
knife
with flour and cut 1 ½ cm wide strips. Wrap the strip
around each greased cone tin starting from the
pointed
end and being careful to see that pastry does
not come over the broad rim. Stick the strips of
pastry
with water . Deep fry in hot oil (low flame) till
golden brown in color. Drain off the oil will remove
cone
and fill the filling.
